My colleagues and I are trying to simulate jets emitted inside

.the envelope of a Red Giant Star

The shocks caused by the expansion of the jets create dense

and hot fronts, where the radiation pressure, (a*T^4)/3 and the

,radiation energy density
.e=a*T^4 are dominant over the gas pressure

?Has anyone implemented these terms in the code in the past

Your description is too high a level to determine if polyhedral optimisation techniques would be useful and which ones if at all.

Are you using a stencil method? What kind of PDEs and discretization do you intend to use? If you have time iterated relaxations/smoothing, Pluto could be used to optimise them. If you are using the geometric multigrid method, Pluto can again be used to optimise smoothing steps.

Best,
Uday
