IObit File Shredder does not delete files completely,i even used Gutmman secure deletion and set repeat deletion to max (99) but the file isn't deleted,i also tried multiple times, some files it can't delete..
today again i had this issue, couldn't delete a file and i tried multiple times,it happened when i set "Repeat the delete operation" to 99,and when i chose the normal 35 (Secure delete-Gutmann method) it managed to delete the file.
I use multiple monitors and prefer performance monitor to be positioned on my secondary monitor on system start up. This used to work perfectly, but with the latest update (15.1.0.183) performance monitor always starts on my primary monitor. Then I drag it over to the secondary monitor. This is not a huge problem, but hopefully in future update performance monitor can "remember" the position on secondary monitor again. Thank you & Happy New Year!
"The features in Advanced System Care are awesome and the overall appearance is clean, fresh, and modern. I have used other all-in-one system maintenance programs, but none have been as effective as ASC 15. The program is easy to use and very intuitive. The included tools are truly all-inclusive and after running the program my computer is more responsive. The program reduces and eliminates the use of non-essential resources which allow your computer to run cooler and more efficiently. This product is amazing and the best in class. If you care about your laptop or pc, use Advanced System Care 15!"
Respectfully, on13 July, 2017 I had a communication with them by email in connection with crash and error of the BIS, one of them during past years, in which they told me to delete advanced SystemCare pro, its copy is as following:
Running multiple security solutions on the same PC may affect their proper functionality as they compete for access to the same system resources. Even if they are turned off, there are some active processes running in the background.
Please , respectfully, what are you telling???!!! what is advanced System care1.0.0.250??!! who talked about that??!! I am talking about advanced SystemCare Pro from Iobit for which I am a user for several years, you do not read well the posts, this Advanced SystemCare Pro:
"I have had a past problem of always messing with my computer. Then I got my first copy of Advanced Systemcare. There is no need to mess around any longer. Now that I have antivirus, included in the product, my need for secondary software is none existent. Advanced System Care Ultimate is the new mother load. The big winner! My computer is always up to date and runs like deer. Unlike other products; there has not been a constant stream of conflicts."
"On the past version of advanced systemcare ultimate, i had no problem on almost everything, system, malwares, etc. and now, it's updated, more features on it will make my laptop run 5x faster than before. i also like the new skin of it. so next time i fix other's computer, i recommend advanced systemcare ultimate as their antivirus/system optimizer."
IObit Malware Fighter even gives you multi-layers of protection. It accelerates a secure startup, stops any malicious process running in RAM, blocks those unknown programs for unauthorized access, and avoids virus infection when inserting a USB flash drive or an external hard drive. And the newly added Behavior Guard feature warns of potential threats or suspected viruses in advance. Your computer is protected step by step with comprehensive security guards.
I recently installed Advanced SystemCare to try and optimize my PC in order to try and get higher fps in games, mainly PUBG. Immediately after installing it however I noticed that the time taken for me to load into a map had more than doubled and not long I realized that my PC was starting to run slower. Things like multi-tasking with Chrome open would sometimes result in loading times whenever I tried to perform a simple action like using the system tray on the right of the taskbar.
Uptodown is a multi-platform app store specialized in Android. Our goal is to provide free and open access to a large catalog of apps without restrictions, while providing a legal distribution platform accessible from any browser, and also through its official native app.
So if you use Adobe Illustrator and small files a 32bit OS is quite capable. But if your AI files are quite large with multiple layers then you need more RAM to hold all that data and in that sense, because a 64bit OS can address more RAM, it can keep all that data in RAM and not have to swap it out to temporary disk.
if you purchased vpn account just only to create multiple facebook account try to think that facebook has the resources to find out if you are using a vpn connection meaning there is always a danger of wasting your time creating those accounts.
If you wish to create multiple account to market more facebook likes to your customers then think it twice. Facebook can get those ip in HMA or those known vpn provider an ease just like infolinks have their database updated and can detect whos publisher using vpn connection
I am a new Linux user. In Windows, I used to monitor and sometimes improve my performance by using a software called "Advanced Systemcare". Is there some kind of software like this for Ubuntu? or someway that I can monitor how the things are going?
Advanced SystemCare is IObit's free version of their robust SystemCare tools. SystemCare incorporates multiple utility tools that help speed up the performance of your computer, including cleaning old temporary files that can be causing performance degradation. The new AI mode can intelligently clean your PC according to your usage habits.
Users have multiple optimization tools at their disposal, including other tools designed to safeguard your online surfing and browser tracking. However, some of these features require you to upgrade to their next available package. Annoyingly, these features are still highlighted on the free version itself.
On the other hand, performance change may go unnoticed if you have a device that hasn't been used to download multiple applications. Mileage may vary with standard use PCs, but the functionality offered here can be a real boon for those in an office environment where files are consistently shared between devices.
While Advanced SystemCare's functionality is useful for many applications, the same cannot be said for their advertising process. Users experience this first hand during the initial installation after dodging multiple 3rd party software download recommendations. These pop-ups, while annoying, are easy to spot for a user that regularly downloads software.
Are you interested in upgrading to the Pro version? You can upgrade to the Pro version by purchasing the 3 PCs/year license for USD 19.99 from the official website. However, you can also buy it for USD 10.95 for 3 PCs/2 years license using Advanced Systemcare Pro coupons from Dealarious Store.
I have performed multiple scans, and I feel that the scan speed of version 17 is a bit slower than previous versions of Advanced SystemCare. However, there is nothing to worry about as the new version scans for more issues in depth. The average scan time will not be more than a few minutes.
On the other hand, if you need a VPN for an unlimited number of devices, Surfshark VPN is an ideal choice. Surfshark is an award-winning VPN Service Provider that offers advanced features like CleanWeb, Multihop, Whitelister, Kill Switch, and much more. You can install it as extensions on Chrome and Firefox, download it on Windows, Android, macOS, iOS, Linux, and Fire TV. For more details, you can read the detailed Surfshark VPN Review.
Just like other apps from IObit, Advanced SystemCare 17 Pro also has a classy User Interface. It comes with a multi-tabbed interface that leads to different sections like Speedup, Care, Software Updater, and Protect. So, when you desperately need a solution, you can navigate to the corresponding tab and do the necessary. Also, IObit Advanced SystemCare 17 Pro uses a modular architecture for additional tools.
Tunngle mentioned in forums that they arent developing for other OSes until they are out of beta, so It *may* happen, but I would love to know if anyone has succeeded in getting Hamachi to work since it is multi platform..
Ok, wait a second, I did try multiplayer over the internet with p2p with other people and had alternating successes and failures... now, why would you want to use a VPN to do that and does that mean that you are connecting to a server or are you still using p2p connections?
The more I read the more confused I become...ha ha OK: I now have Tunngle ... and you say we both have to use the same acf in the same directory.. OK am I understanding this correctly the same plane model in the same Directory (x-Plane 10/Aircraft/General Aviation/Cessna 172SP/Cessna 172SP.acf) the reason I am asking because I installed my X-Plane 10 Directory on my Desktop but my brother installed it on his E: Drive, but we have the same directory structures (only on a different drive) and his is not on the Desktop.
My FULL path would be: C:\Users\Denny\Desktop\X-Plane 10\Aircraft\General Aviation\Cessna 172SP\Cessna 172SP.acf
His would be: E:\X-Plane 10\Aircraft\General Aviation\Cessna 172SP\Cessna 172SP.acf Would that still work?
And what do we need to do inside X-Plane 10under multiplayer? Do I need his IP? and does he need mine (considering we would both be using Tunngle? I sure would appreciate the help
We are both old and we have been trying to fly together for a very long time now and just could not figure out all the IPs, Routers, LAN, WAN etc ha ha
The directory referring to x-plane subdirectories starting with the Aircraft folder. So the default aircraft would work as they are setup that way. It has nothing to do with what drive. I don't remember with Tungle, but I think you can right click on the persons info to get their public IP and this is what you enter under Network Connections in multiplayer. Also if you want to be able to have different liveries so you all don't look the same, just duplicate the aircraft and name it with a -1 or the persons name like -John at the end and the others will have to do the same.
You can also accomplish all of this without a go between if you are familiar with port forwarding on your router.
There is also a plugin called Netflight that may still work and you don't need IPs. Flyingwith.us is the site you can get it from. I do know that the plunging did have issues with Skymaxx though in the past.
