The Linxin Melon-pult plush is a watermelon with many printed, yellow, wavy lines around it. The placement of the lines can vary between certain Melon-pults. Its eyebrows are black and embroidered on. Below the eyebrows are the eyes, which are black and have white pupils in them, also embroidered on. Its mouth is thin and black, and also uses embroidery. It has a light green stem, which is typically placed on the right of the plush. Below the melon is a three leaf base, which has two in the front, and one in the back.

The bootleg Melon-pult comes in two sizes: keychain and normal. It is very similar to its official counterpart, but has some minor differences. Its leaf base has one leaf in the front, and two in the back, which is not how the official plush is like. The plush also uses a more odd material, and has its wavy yellow lines printed on differently. This plush is overall lower quality and less stuffed compared to the official.

For the original Melon-pult, it is decently uncommon, your best bet is eBay. As for both the larger sizes of Melon-pult, your best bet would be eBay, but you may have to pay a decent amount or wait a while for it to show up

I just got the Melon-pult which costs 300 sun. However since pults fire at a 1/2 rate, it has the same effect as a reapeater ( reapeater has 40 dps while melon pult has 80 dps but fires half as fast ) but with splash damage. A reapeater costs 200 sun so is the extra 100 sun used for splash really worth it?

The DPS you get from a single plant is much better then any other plant you can get due to the Enemy clumping up in large waves. Let's say you got a tall-nut with 5 zombies chewing on it. All 5 get hit at the same time by a Melon but the repeater only hits one.

And to top the Melons off, if you upgrade them with frost bonus you can effectively slow all incoming enemies with just 2 plants total. So, Yes! The splash is worth it, and the slow bonus you get with upgrading it makes it even better!

For big crowds, yes.
For smaller crowds where the splash is ineffective, it's still a good idea.80 DPS is big against normal zombies and others, even against bucketheads!
If you know there are lots of enemies in a level, I advise using Melon pult.

Ok so Im a huge xskull fan, and I watch his banner rankings a lot. Anyway, after watching his iron legion ranking I saw Might Kat A Pult was ranked at the bottom. I also went to the page and found everyone in the comments saying how dogshit he was. He was also ranked in C tier in Xskulls tier list for 10.6, and keep in mind C tier on his tier list actually means bad, not average.

Ok time to cover his niche usage. A lot of people seem to disregard any usage of him as an anti zombie because he has a blindspot, and zombies can burrow into him, yet people seem to think pole vaulter is a good anti zombie who has an even larger blind spot...?

The thing is, Kat a pult has about 400k-500k effective hp against zombies, so the only real threats that could burrow into him are high dps or proc enemies. The only things I could see being a threat towards Kat a pult is Zroco (weaken) zir zeal (freeze) Zory (high dps) and zombie bore (high dps). I have still found great area denial and usage against some tougher zombies, like cadaver bear, Gravey, zombie bore (when it doesn't burrow into his blindspot), daboo, and even mrs haka if he has a stepping stone to snipe her with. His weaken is also extremely powerful, while only having a 50% proc change with 8 second TBA, the weaken lasts for 8 seconds, and his LD guarantees he won't miss unless they are in his blindspot. Its great for stopping zombies with high pushing power.

As for talents, they are okish. Defense and attack are good, but wave and slow are inconsistent because of their low proc rate, but wave attack basically covers his blind spot every 5 attacks. And resist freeze is ok against zir zeal I guess.

I would place him in B tier, which is like average, he has some decent practical usages. Ive found good usage for him in stages like On Mighty Wings levels 41-60, where he can snipe Mega Mooth and professor A, and can deal with the zombies peons, or on daboo's stage as he cant tank many of the zombies including daboo.

Mina is better due to far faster cooldown, an extra KB, more comfortable speed, and higher standing range. Besides, Mina isn't great until you boost her to level 40, as 3.1K DPS (3.2K DPS for Kat-a-Pult) is kinda low.

Cabbage-pultCabbage-pults hurl cabbages at the enemy.Almanac statistics Sun cost100 RechargeFast DamageNormalRangeLobbedIn-game statisticsDirect damage40 damage every 3 seconds UnlockedBeating Level 4-10Cabbage-pult is okay with launching cabbages at zombies. It's what he's paid for, after all, and he's good at it. He just doesn't understand how the zombies get up on the roof in the first place.Cabbage-pult is the first offensive lobbed-shot plant available in Plants vs. Zombies. He is featured in the Roof levels, being unlocked the level directly before them.

Cabbage-pult lobs cabbages at half the fire rate of a normal Peashooter, but deals twice as much damage for each cabbage meaning that Cabbage-pult deals identical damage per second to Peashooter in practice.

Cabbage-pult is simply a lobbed-shot version of Peashooter, which is capable of dealing similar damage over time in a neutral environment. While the cabbage's lobbed-shot nature gives Cabbage-pult an edge in overcoming obstacles and hitting enemies behind a shield, this is countered by a massive hit in potential firepower output, as Cabbage-pult does not benefit from Torchwood like Peashooter. Because of this, the problem present with Peashooter's firepower output is ultimately not only addressed, but also rather worse, and Cabbage-pult will be quickly outclassed by other plants as the game progresses.

When compared with Kernel-pult, another lobbed-shot plant with the same sun cost, Cabbage-pult benefits from having a higher damage output and not being reliant on random effects. On the other hand, Kernel-pult's butter can prove to be more devastating, especially when used in tandem with other offensive plants like Spikerock. Generally speaking, Cabbage-pult will be easier to use early on, while Kernel-pult can continue to be effective in the mid- and late-game thanks to its stunning ability.

Cabbage-pult is an useful plant on the Roof stages, since it will be the first projectile plant available to the player that can overcome the slopes. However, the player should plan to replace Cabbage-pult with more powerful lobbed-shot plants such as Melon-pult, or Fume-shroom with Coffee Bean (the latter combination will also help the player towards the Grounded achievement or be upgraded in Survival levels).

Cabbage-pult lobs cabbages at just over half the fire rate of a normal Peashooter (one cabbage per 2.7-2.95s), but deals twice as much damage for each cabbage. This means in practice, Cabbage-pult deals slightly more damage per second than Peashooter does.

If given Plant Food, Cabbage-pult will launch big cabbages to every zombie and obstacle on the lawn, dealing 200 damage to each zombie or obstacle. These cabbages cannot be deflected by the Jester Zombie but can still bounce off of Parasol Zombie.

Cabbage-pult is unchanged from his Vanilla counterpart; as such, standard vanilla tactics apply. Being a lobbed counterpart to the straight-shooting Peashooter, the two plants have subtle differences that may make one more desirable over the other.

Having a different mode of fire helps Cabbage-pult better handle obstacles such as tombstones and presents, attacking zombies directly to avoid wasting damage. Cabbage-pult can also directly attack targets like Barrel Roller Zombie, Snorkel Zombie, Hunter Zombie and Excavator Zombie, whose abilities can shield them from straight-shot projectiles. On the other hand, Peashooter's straight shots and more frequent attacks make him better for dealing with targets like Chicken Wrangler Zombie and Parasol Zombie, and may be more useful when wishing to damage obstacles directly. As a pea plant, he is also capable of dealing more damage through Torchwood, while having marginally lower DPS by default due to differences in firing rate.

Each plant's Plant Food effect also serves a different function, with Cabbage-pult splattering the entire horde while Peashooter deals capped damage in his lane. Cabbage-pult's Plant Food effect can thus be used for clearing out low health zombies and weakening all other targets to ease the zombie threat - notably, the damage dealt is much like that of Melon-pult's effect, minus the splash damage. In contrast, Peashooter's effect is best for taking on a Buckethead-level threat or a small horde that can't be handled with his main attack, albeit dealing limited damage unless assisted by Torchwood. In both cases, these effects should only be used if unable to access other plants that have more impactful Plant Food effects.

Ultimately, both Cabbage-pult and Peashooter are cheap plants that, although less effective than the many other plants on offer, can be easily spammed to take on basic zombie threats. Which of the two to use will depend on the needs of the level: Peashooter being best for straight shots with easy damage output, or Cabbage-pult for the utilities of lobbed firing and a crowd control Plant Food effect.

He's a heavy plant that deals high damage in a 3x3 area. He can bypass obstructions such as the tombstones in Ancient Egypt and Dark Ages, and can target flying zombies like Jetpack Zombie or Balloon Zombie. His damage output makes him a great choice for stronger zombies like Pharaoh Zombies or any type of Gargantuar.
