No! Not at all.
Once you purchase your NeoFinder Mac license, you can continue using it with the appropriate major version of NeoFinder for as long as you like. It is entirely up to you if you want to upgrade to a newer major version of NeoFinder in the future.
As we offer a fully functional** free NeoFinder Demo version, and electronic license keys cannot really be returned once issued, we cannot offer refunds. The only exception are purchases of the wrong license type, or duplicate purchases made in error.
(**the demo version is limited to 10 catalogs, but should you need more for testing, you can contact us for a more complete demo license, too)
In these cases, we will require a written and legally binding statement asking for the refund, and legally binding stating that the license key you have received that was refunded is destroyed and all files related to it are actually permanently deleted.
All upgrades require a valid CDFinder or NeoFinder user license of the same number of users (or for a cross-grade, a valid license of the other product)
We also offer upgrades for all other license packs in any size, pleasecontact us for an offer!

Stick with Mojave as long as you can. I decided not to go with the Adobe CC product and kept my Adobe Photoshop CS6. Yes, 6! In any event, I did upgrade to Catalina and PS CS6 would not load. I talked to Apple and we decided my best bet was to revert to Mojave. After reverting, all hell broke loose. In addition, I was using Dr Browns Image Processor 2. To revert to Mojave, Apple walked me through the "re-install" from a clean drive. I'm not going to go into that one! Bottom line, Bridge stopped recognizing some .CR2 raw files. I tried a PS CS6 re-install. No help. In any event, After Installing the Adobe DNG Converter I was back in business. Somewhat slowed but back in business. Sooooo, long story-short stay with Mojave. Sorry to go a bit off topic but I felt it was knowing.
Recently I was thinking about how devastating it would be, and how lost I would be without one of these apps in particular so I thought it would be good to write this article and do a roundup of essential non-audio apps to help run your audio business and sustain your audio career.
These are listed in no particular order of importance but I thought it would be good to start with the app I use for invoicing since in many ways, this is the heart of any business in order to keep the lights on and doors open month after month, year after year.
I use the Standard Edition, which is perfect for an operation my size (a one-person video production business). For example, I don't need to collaborate with others, so the pricier online alternatives aren't a good fit for me.

My digital assets (picture files), as well as the metadata, are one of the key assets in in my photography business. Handing those over to someone else (as you do in a cloud solution) is not very appealing (ask those who experienced the Digital Railroad debacle for example), not to mention the dangers of relying in having an internet connection to access the DAM.
Dear Per,
thanks for that great post! Have you looked into Bynder (www.getbynder.com). It is said to be the image bank with the highest convenience & usability. Although its cloud-based, you can give it a try. I can strongly understand the critics of cloud storage, however, it also has he advantage of minimizing the risk of loosing all your pics through a system crash or something. Also the do not have any set-up costs, which makes them attractive especially to small businesses and photographers.
As a library owner I never had enough money for the really expensive programs, nor did I, in common with most small businesses in the same field, really need anything that was web-based. The program was, and by and large still is, required merely to enable me to find files to send to clients. We eventually settled on Extensis Portfolio after a great deal of time spend searching for the best solution. Indeed I became deeply involved with writing about the virtues of DAM, particularly from the standpoint of the small user.
