Hi,

I'm starting to play around with the new functionalities of Plumed 2.10 which allow manipulating multidimensional CVs in a more straightforward way than before - which is really useful, so thanks for that release!

I have a 12-dimensional CV defined through DISTANCE, out of which I'd like to define 3 4-dimensional CVs, which would be the first 4 elements of the former, then the 4 next, and the 4 last elements. Is there a way to do this, which looks like slicing an array?

thanks,
Arthur

You can use select_components.  More details here:

Separately, consider using the master version of the code instead of 2.10.  These parts that you are using are a little faster.

Good luck
Gareth
