If you have a huge website using plume and with a latin1 encoding I am
interested! I am working on the script to do the conversion of the
websites into utf-8 and I wonder if I can do that in one run while
staying within the standard 8MB memory limit of PHP.
So, if you are in that situation, just drop me an email or answer here.
I don't think we should have any problem as the number of created
objects will be small. But feedback is always very welcomed.

I did some tests for a quite big installation. Here is the memory usage
after the conversion of each table. With the maximum at the end. So
basically it is not using more than 4.8MB and this only because of the
search engine tables. So there is a simple solution in case of problem.
Restore from your backup, empty the searchocc and searchwords tables,
upgrade and in the search manager plugin, reindex your resources.
