my appachi log file is:
[Wed Jan 11 01:02:01 2012] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/maso/www/pluf/src/Pluf.php on line 46
after installing the pack it works OK.

It's a problem related to your server, not pluf. You should compile php with the mbstring support.
