Dear PLT Network,
Happy National Environmental Education Week!
EE Week is the nation's largest celebration of environmental education that’s held each year the week before Earth Day to inspire environmental learning and stewardship among K-12 students.
The theme this year is, “Greening STEM: Engineering a Sustainable World.”
To help kick off EE Week, the national PLT program has published a Blog that highlights reasons and resources to connect youth to the environment and incorporate STEM education in the classroom. Included is a link to a video produced by NAAEE that illustrates the benefits of EE.

Thanks, as always, for all that you do for environmental education and PLT – this week and year-round!
