Dear Friends,
You must be aware that last year we performed the weddings of 12 of our resident girls and the total weddings done by Udavum Karangal during its 33 years tenure is 89. We have again planned a series of wedding this year of our resident girls who have been brought up at Udavum Karangal, studied here and are now Volunteers. I am proud to say that the girls who are married have taken up the new role of setting up their family on their own with great success. They have gelled well with the people of the society and I am happy to now have more than 100 Grandsons/ Granddaughters.
First in the line is Ms. NADHIYA VIDYAAKAR who was brought up at Udavum Karangal since infancy and now she is 22 years of age . She did her schooling upto +2 at Ramakrishna Vidya Niketan School at Thiruverkadu and is pursuing her Degree. As she has a passion for children she has volunteered to be engaged as Care Provider cum Educator for kindergarten children.
Ms. Nadhiya is getting married to Mr. Vijayanand who works as an Executive in a Private Organisation. Both have given their consent for the marriage. The family of Mr. Vijayanand have given their full acceptance and have expressed their happiness to get their son married to a girl from Udavum Karangal. Their wedding will be held on 09-06-2016 ( Thursday ) between 10.30 am and 11.30 am at Shanthivanam, Thiruverkadu. She is willing to continue her support to Udavum Karangal by taking up regular assignments even after her marriage.
This is the 90th wedding of the Resident Girls of Udavum Karangal.
Ms. Nadhiya is entering a new phase of life. Like any other typical parent, I have an added responsibility to meet both ends to make this marriage successful and fulfill her dreams. Apart from your blessing she looks forward for the valuable support of every one of you to build her dream home.
