Hello all,

This discussion is for those who plan to take the CIPP/US.

Use this discussion to talk about when you plan to take the exam and when you plan to study.

NOTE: The CIPP/US will be revising some of its content starting on September, 2020.

Recommended post: Name, test date, ideal study schedule, etc.

I'll start:

My name is Patricio;

I am taking the CIPP/US on August 14th; AND

My plan is to start studying full-time around July 20th;

If anyone is going to be studying around that time, it might be useful to study together.

I also have a test question book that is supposed to be useful (according to Kim!)

Misc: Happy to schedule a weekly, semi-weekly review session to check our understanding and test our understanding.

Sounds awesome. I am planning on starting around 7/20 (ish) as well.

CIPP/US

Exam date is booked for 08/31.

I took the self study online course in 2018 - failed the exam.
Took the instructor led online course in June 2020.
I have the book, two exam practice books, just ordered the exam case study book, and will subscribe to the Chapple LinkedIn course August 1st.

I also just recently joined. I am still looking at whether to study the book and info I find publicly and or take the online course provided by IAPP. Does anyone have advice on whether or not to try to study without the course? Thanks in advance. Rosi

Hi everyone.  I just joined this study group and learned that some content on the test will change starting on 9/1.  Yikes!  I am on page 45 of the IAPP book and am working from an existing outline.  If anyone wants to study, has Quizlet flash cards, or other materials and is willing to share, I will gladly accept anything!
