DORA updated rules, Gary Kent ALTA presentation and upcoming October renewals

Hi everyone,

The updated DORA rules, including the continuing education (CE) outline can be found on the PLSC website at: https://www.plsc.net/docs/DORA_Adopted_Rule_Changes_20250711.pdf

Please see section 1.4.I.3 for CEs

However, there are other relevant updates that should be noticed in the AES Board Rule updates, so it is worth looking over the entire document. 

In case you didn't see it, there will also be a CE working group for the entire PLSC on September 24th. You must RSVP to Becky Roland at bro...@plsc.net to attend. There is an option to attend virtually via Zoom. This meeting is going to cover how the PLSC will help membership get CEs and the sorts of offerings we will provide.

Gary Kent will have a virtual presentation for the new 2026 ALTA rules on November 6th. This WILL count for CEs. Please register at: https://mms.plsc.net/Calendar/moreinfo.php?org_id=PLSC&eventid=181713

Last, license renewals are coming up in October so please be sure to renew!
