Due to some mitigating circumstances, we will be holding the Northern Chapter Annual Board Meeting virtually this coming Wednesday from 6-7PM.

Happy New Year everyone. I am attaching our Land Survey Plat catalog updated to the end of 2024. We have added Surveyor’s Affidavits of Correction this year as well. For those of you who are seeing this for the first time, this file lists all surveys we have been able to find that lie within the City’s Growth Management Area, plus some. The second file lists the Section-Twp-Ranges which we searched. These are searchable by Sec-Twp-Rg, Subdivision Name, Surveyor’s Name etc. As always I ask that you email me if you find any inaccurate information in there (all the way down to misspellings).

 

A ways back, Laine had asked whether we had an easy way to search for Vacations throughout the City. The answer then was an unequivocal ‘no’. That answer will change here shortly. Daniel, Sam and Hailee have spent significant time developing a spreadsheet cataloguing all 462 Vacation Ordinances (for both ROW and easements), and when applicable their corresponding Reception Nos. It is not ready for prime time yet, but will be shortly. In the meantime, if there is a particular area where you feel there may have been a vacation, contact me directly. I’ll look to see if I can find what you’re after.

 

Lastly, I wanted to make you aware that we are about to open a job posting for a Project Surveyor. I would expect the posting to appear Jan. 13 at the latest. If interested, please use the following link,
