Hi,
I have recently downloaded Smartpls3.

Also, my trial use Smartpls2 has been finished now and I cant open it.

My question is that how it is possible to transfer my files from smartpls2 to smart pls3?

Thanks

Hi

Thanks for your message. SmartPLS 2 is free. You automatically receive a fresh key after 90 days via email. If you did not get a fresh key, please check your spam folder and talk to your IT.

Here are the different license options of the much more advanced SmartPLS 3 software:
https://www.smartpls.com/faq/what-are-the-smartpls-license-options

A good start is the 30 days free trial version of SmartPLS 3 Professional. Just download, install and run the software (https://www.smartpls.com/downloads) and get started following this option:
https://www.smartpls.com/faq/where-do-i-get-the-30-days-free-trial-license-of-smartpls-3-professional

You can import you SmartPLS 2 workspace into SmartPLS 3. Just use the "import from backup folder option". But please note: you should make a copy before (!), because you cannot import SmartPLS 3 projects into SmartPLS 2.

In case of any question, please use the www.smartpls.com forum or create a support ticket here: http://support.smartpls.com/

Best regards
Christian

Hi Christian,

Thanks for your fast response.

Frankly, I'm surprised because I thought that it is a free software. I was in a middle of project that it stopped.

Is there any option to open it sooner?

Thanks
