Hi, Ned and everyone.

I have panel data across 5 years and 15 companies; 5 interval independent variables; 1 interval moderator variable; 8 dummy and interval control variables (definitely the said 8 control variables do not include the years and companies).  Our DV is dichotomous.  All are observed variables, i.e., not latent variables.

Is WarpPLS 7.0 capable of handling panel data, especially for data with dichotomous DV? If yes, how?

Thank you and happy holidays!

to PLS-SEM
The fixed-random comparison is essentially a linear-nonlinear comparison. See: Kock, N. (2021). Moderated mediation and J-curve emergence in path models: An information systems research perspective. Journal of Systems and Information Technology, 23(3), 303-321. (From https://warppls.com.) However, it is not possible to assess nonlinear effects involving dichot. vars. We are currently working on this, through the develop. of a feature that would enable users to employ logistic regression in PLS-SEM. This would allow for the transformation of a dichot. var. into a var. that measures a probability. It should come out in v 8.0. We are aiming for a early 2022 release.
