I need to upload stened theory dictionary file to plover.  I need my file converted to RTF or JSON.  I have the file from stenovations website but it is not in RTF or JSON what do I need to do to convert this?

Hm, probably somebody with commercial CAT software. Try going into the Plover Discord and asking.

Rtf format needs to be exported from within the program...also stenograph has an rtf sten-ed theory dictionary you can download and use with plover.

Hi, Julie.

On the off chance you have a copy of digitalCAT, you should also have a copy of digitalCAT's Dictionary Maintenance program. If that is the case, all you would have to do would be to open the Dictionary Maintenance program, locate that StenEd dictionary through the File --> Open menu, and once it's open, click File --> Export, and save it to wherever you want it to be as something like "StenEd.rtf," and that should do it.

If you don't have a copy of digitalCAT, you can send it to me, and I'll convert it for you, if you like.

Turns out I have a copy converted, zipped and ready to go, because I encountered a reporter on StenoSearch that had lost her Stentura 8000, and apparently the only copy of her StenEd dictionary ... so here you go, Julie ... and good luck!
