Stentura 400 SRT connection Issues

I purchased a stentura 400 SRT second hand.

I am having sever trouble connecting to plover.

i have the usb and the driver installed but the machine doesnt connect to plover and the red light doesnt turn on.

can someone please help me.

I know this is a (relatively) old post, but when I was in court reporting school (KRAO*UL), most of my classmates were using the Stentura 400. Before their laptops would respond to their strokes, they had to tap a key on their writer so their laptops would recognize their writer was "talking" to it.

They were a bit stunned when I would connect everything to my computer, start my CAT of choice (digitalCAT), open a new document, turn on my ProCAT Flash, and immediately start writing.

None of that tapping stuff, just writing.

Might want to check the baud rate. In my case only a baud rate 9000 or so would work.
