Hi,

I recently upgraded to an infinity ergo. I figured I would have some challenges getting it to play nicely with my mac, but I've gotten stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the backstory:

0) I've tried restarting the computer, plover, and the machine in various combinations.
1) I've tried all three of the protocols, but have done most tests with the PR protocol @ 115200 baud (as is recommended on the plover website)
2) I'm connecting over USB. I've downloaded the driver for the onboard USB to serial converter (https://www.silabs.com/products/development-tools/software/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers). The serial port shows under /dev/cu.*
3) I've tried "screen" in terminal to see if anything comes over the wire and I'm not seeing anything.
4) USB mode is "On" on the infinity ergo.

Because of 3) it seems to me that the output of the machine is not making it to my computer. Not sure what to tweak to get past this. I plan on seeing if I can get it working on a windows box. I'm curious if anyone has had a similar problem or has any suggestions.

Many Thanks,
Hillary

Hi again,

Ended up solving the problem. Here's what the trick was:

0) Connecting the machine creates two virtual com ports. Use the second virtual com port rather than the first.
1) Use 9600 baud rather than 115200.
2) Have a job going.
