Accordinglythe common shares of the Corporation will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under it new name Comet Lithium Corporation at the opening of the market on or about June 8, 2023 under the new trading symbol "CLIC". The new CUSIP/ISIN numbers for the common shares of Comet Lithium Corporation following the effective date of the name change will be 20036Y101/CA20036Y1016, respectively.

The name and symbol changes do not affect the Corporation' share structure or the rights of the Corporation's shareholders, and no further action is required by existing shareholders. Each current share certificate evidencing common shares of X-Terra will continue to evidence the common shares of Comet Lithium Corporation without further action by shareholders. No consolidation of capital occurred in connection with the name change.

X-Terra Resources is a well-structured publicly listed resource company with projects in the James Bay Lithium District in Quebec as well as in New Brunswick (precious metals). Advancing its projects with thoughtful and technical rigor, X-Terra strives to discover and delineate new compliant resources, creating value for its shareholders.

Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of the release.

Every product line will have some fixed cost and require a variable amount of resources from management, engineers, marketing, etc. With a small TAM there are fewer resources to allocate to each product, which also means fewer resources for quality control and R&D. The smart phone market is much, much larger and how many iPhone models does Apple have?

To keep the thread on topic, the X-Terra Elite seems like a very incremental product and it's not clear what market niche it addresses that isn't already served by other Minelab products. Ultimately, the lack of differentiated products will tend to confuse consumers. It seems we have been a bit confused here and this is group of enthusiasts who can parse out technicals and features much better than the average consumer.

Nailed it AT, but I'd be willing to bet that the "dozen or two" is more like "thousands". The vast majority who are curious but know nothing about detectors, will turn to Amazon for a looksy. Then they're taken in by detectors such as Pancky.

One of my other hobbies is Astronomy and the same thing occurs with telescopes. Newbies are taken in with ludicrous magnification numbers coupled with garbage telescopes. They buy one of those, realize they can't see s--t, then forget about the whole inquisitive endeavor.

Another way to look at it is this. Would you consider the 30 notch segments on the Nokta Double and Triple Score detectors to be a deal breaker too? Because, in that case the Double/Triple Score notch resolution would be equivalent to the X-Terra Elite 4-segment notch resolution considering the X-Terra Elite has 119 target ID segments and the Double/Triple Score have 60 target ID segments. And given the observed X-Terra target ID stability, the 4-segment notch seems like a good idea.

If multi-segment notch is a deal breaker, then that's one of the reasons why the Equinox and Legend exist as options. I personally don't value notch enough to have it be the reason for bumping me up to the next price tier.

Not sure why folks frequently cherry pick niche features on high end detectors as show stopping missing features on detectors at value level price points several hundred dollars below those high end detectors. But, hey, that's why we have choices in what we buy and how much value we are willing to put on these features.

When I personally consider the price deltas required to attain single point notch and ferro check features, those are the show stoppers for me because I place minimal value on thise features because they have had little if any impact on my detecting success - i.e., they are basically expendable if I am looking to save some dollars. The stripped down simplicity while retaining what I consider the essential features and capabilities make the Xterra Elite and Triple Score worthy of considerstion to this owner of both the D2 and Manticore as a backup, loaner, or "change of pace" detector.
