Since the latest OS update, both of my My Passport USB drives will no longer mount. I called WD and they told me to talk to Apple. I called Apple and they tell me to talk to WD. Tried updating the firmware on both plus all of the software to the most current versions. Still no luck. If anyone figures this out please share!
Hi DaveyJake,
Do you by any chance know if it s safe to upgrade WD: Security, Drive U. and Discovery yet still staying with Mojave? Will the new entire WD upgrade work with Mojave system?
Cheers

Dear Michael86,
I had the same issue. This solved the problem. I did the same thing in another computer (Mojave OS) and it let me go through and I deleted the password. Then my hard drive started working in Catalina OS. Hope this helps
Cheers
My motherboard is a H97 socket with an unlocked (lol...) Haswell CPU. Back in the day I had actually bought the MSI Z97i AC which would've allowed me to overclock the G3258 very impressively. The CPU was a steal back then for the performance it could provide overclocked. Sadly the board arrived malfunctioning and the reseller couldn't stock me another Z97 replacement. I got pretty upset and had to bite the apple ending up with the locked H97 version...
The CPU doesn't support VT-d so no reason to go into the BIOS to deactivate it. VT-x is and has been always enabled. I occasionally run tons of different OSes in VMware. From Windows, to almost every Linux distro, to several BSDs...never had an issue.
I did have Disable Execute Bit enabled though, which I think to remember causing me issues back when I still built hackintoshes. Disabling it didn't make a difference in this situation though. I also changed C-State from Auto to enabled and disabled HEIST. No change in VMware. I'm kinda disappointed by now. It seems nobody can help me here 'cause nobody's facing a similar issue.
I upgraded to 16, and then used the same unlocker as you from BDisp and my macOS 10.15 VM boots up just fine. I also upgraded tools using the ISO file from VMware Fusion 12 and nothing bad seems to have happened.
I can't believe how many people have downloaded MK-Unlocker. I made it by pulling a broken version of Unlocker and putting a few fixes in. It has now been downloaded over 114,000 times. Everything is working for me with Workstation 16. I continue to support a community where Unlocker is very important. Without giving too many details, it is to help people who can't afford a Mac but need macOS to use medical software that greatly improves their lives. I want to keep Unlocker alive. Unfortunately, we are short on people who are really up to speed on how the core of it works. We have been able to make minor fixes and tweaks. We are lucky that it continues to work on Workstation 16, and first reports are it still works with Big Sur. Some others that have contributed are , -projects/unlocker , and myself ( ). Dr. Donk was a significant contributor, but I don't believe he is active anymore. Does anyone know anyone else active with this project, or someone that would like to become active? Without help, it will almost certainly quit working at some point.
VMware Tools are already installed on all my EIGHT VMs, and are latest version possible for each one. (older macOS VMs not being able to run latest VMware Tools, due to the newer minimum system req's it now has)
I don't know. That would have to be something with how VMware is detecting what Tools are installed. We are honestly lucky it still works. The people who actually built the logic in the unlocker tool have dropped out of the project. Those of us working on it now are able to make small tweaks, but not huge changes.
I leave my macOS VM running all of the time (basically using it mostly as a very heavy iMessage client). This has been stable for me for... years. Since upgrading to VMware 16.1.0 (and re-running the unlocker), I am experiencing the host freezing up from time to time. It's a full freeze (no response from keyboard/mouse, have to power off the system). It's happened twice in three days. I can't think of anything that I have changed recently other than the VMware update and I am rolling back to 16.0 to see if that makes a difference, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar?
I have not seen this. I have 2 instances running and support a community that has several hundred. I have one up 24/7 to run Airmessage. Maybe make sure your BIOS and all firmwares on your host are updated?
Thanks. I am the provider. I have absolutely no idea why it continues to be so successful. It was a 1 off version I made when the primary branch was getting flagged as having a virus. I leave it there for download as it has had over 130,000 downloads. Glad it helps.
Yes, since Big Sur anyway, minimizing windows is very slow and CPU-intensive. I've seen other users report this. I think that it basically boils down to the lack of hardware graphics acceleration... and Apple not really caring at all to make sure that things work OK without it.
And funny you should mention it, I just discovered AirMessage yesterday while looking for alternate iMessage solutions. I'm thinking that I will run it on an actual 2010 Mac Mini that I have and see how it goes.
This page is for the UUU v3.0.x. This is the free version and won't be updated anymore. If you're looking for the UUU v4.x with camera paths and otheradditional features, please visit Otis_Inf's Patreon page: the UUU v4.x is part of Tier 1.
For Unreal Engine 4 powered games, there's a universal way to add a free camera, add timestop, a hud toggle and re-create the in-game console (which is usually stripped out in released games): The Universal UE4 Unlocker, in short UUU. It comes with its own client exe, UuuClient.exe, and is ready to use. See below what you have to do to get started.
Now you first start the game and when the game has opened its main menu, you start the UuuClient.exe application to inject the UniversalUE4Unlocker.dll into the game's process and control its features. To do so, on the General tab you click the Select... button and select the game's process. You can leave the 'DLL to inject' as-is as it should already refer to the UniversalUE4Unlocker.dll.
After you've select the game's process, you click the Inject DLL button. The UUU dll is now injected and the General tab switches to the following screen: here, the UUU is injected into the Darksiders III game process.
If you click Select and the game process isn't shown, even though you know it's running, it's likely the game runs as administator and you therefore have to run the UuuClient.exe also as administrator: right-click the UuuClient.exe and select 'Run as Administrator' or create a shortcut to the exe on your desktop, right-click it, select Properties and on the Shortcut tab, select Advanced..., then check the 'Run as Administrator' checkbox and click OK.
After you've successfully injected the dll, you'll get a series of notification windows in the top left corner of your game window which some info regarding what the UUU is doing. You can now switch to the Available features tab to see which features of the UUU are available with the game you're using it with.
The Game speed can be used with the Slomo timestop when it's active. The Dump object info button can be used to dump all active object names and the addresses in memory to a text file on disk. This feature is helpful for people who want to use cheat engine with the game at hand. See for more info the object dumping section below.
It might be the UUU reports some elements aren't found while the game should be fully supported. This might be caused by assembly mismatches or the timing you injected the dll into the game process. If thishappens try to inject the DLL at moment after you've loaded the level or after the game's menu has fully loaded.
The UUU has various settings you can configure, which you'll do on the Configuration tab. Additionally you can define the key-shortcuts for various functionality on the Key bindings tab. These are discussed below
Most settings are for the built-in free camera and are self explanatory. The Game control device allows you to select which device to use for controlling the built-in free camera. By default it's both 'keyboard+mouse' and 'gamepad'. The device that's chosen is blocked by default to send its input to the game (as much as possible, sometimes this is unavoidable).
