Good day to you. Our team is using plot project in our android-app, and we have some misterious problems.

Details can be found here - http://crashes.to/s/791439d1e01

Why do I think that this crash is related to plot project plugin ?
Im not sure 100% about this. The only thing that connects your project to that crash, is that fact, that when we were using Plot_v_1_11_0.jar
one of our test devices (GT-9300) could reproduce that crash. It happed when user taps on plot-project notification, or sometimes even w/o tap just when notification should be displayed.

Now our apps lib is ubpdated to Plot_v_1_12_0.jar verstion, and that devices can not reproduce the crash.

there is an artilce on stack overflow that say's that not only we have such problems, a lot of samsung devices have such problem.

also there is a topic at this forum that looks like related to this problem.

So my main question - do you have any addtional info about this problem? may be we are not the firs one and there is a solution ?

P.S. I also started such topics at other plugins support forums, for example at fabric.io.

Hi,

Our library does make use of AssetInputStreams, but when we do we always close them after use so the closing doesn't have to be done in the finalizer. I've checked all the code paths where these objects are used once more.

We weren't able to replicate the issue locally. Since the problem manifests itself at a different place than where problem was created it is hard to find what library causes it.
We haven't made any changes related to this between 1.11.0 and 1.12.0.

If you any more details about this issue please let us know.

Kind regards,
Mark van der Tol
