TerraCorp charges

Hi there,

We have been paying covenant charges to TerraCorp Ltd for the last 10 years or so for land that we purchased from Lakeview. We have tried to dispute these charges with TerraCorp since Lakeview went into administration last year only to be issued with a court order. Now we have received another letter from TerraCorp with a offer to 'release' us from the covenant charges on the condition we pay them £1,495 within the next 60 days. 

Has anyone had similar experience with this and taken any action? I presume no one has actually paid this as it all seems to be illegitimate. 

Any advice would be welcome, many thanks for your help!

Have you joined the action group?  It is set up to bring a class action case against Terracorp. Please write to sayed...@gmail.com.  He will send you details of how to join the group.  The more people we have the stronger our case becomes.

Hello,
My In-laws are also going through the same problem. We have been making the payments for nearly 15 years now and we are being charged £2570 to them. We know a friend whi hired a lawyer and had also bought a plof of land in Reigate, Surrey. He hadnt paid the covenant charges gor about nearly 5 years now. His lawyer talked to Terracorps lawyers and he now just needs to pay the leaving charges. We have no idea how to get out of this situation. Any help or suggestion is welcome.
