Hi,

UK Land Investments Group is under adminstration by the FSA on
Wednesday 23rd April 2008
I have invested 12000£ for a parcel of land at their Borehamwood
site..
I strongly believe that after going through all the posts in this
group.. my hard earned savings have gone ... The Title deed from the
Land Registry seems to have lost its worth .. I don't think I could
ever sell my 200sq meter plot of land ever...to get back atleast 50%
of the price..

Any suggestions for the next stage would be appreciated..

Regards

Gary

Hi,

Feedback from FSA is that UKLI is insolvent - and they are preparing
the draft to be send to all the investors by the end of following
week.. FSA does not give any form of assurance about the investment
and they mention that we need to wait for the outcome of the
investigation ..I think there is no hope as of now and we should
start getting in touch with the respective council/s collectively.. I
know it is early ... but can somebody who has been through the giref
suggest some options...

Regards

Gary

Hi Gary,
I have invested through UKLI in Surrey(Linfield 6). Any idea about
further proceedings. Website (ukli) explains about FSA acts etc and
says that investors will be informed but I didnt get any letter so
far. Any luck for you. Will you be interested in discussing with
solicitor. We can share the cost.

Hi,

My wife and I have two Borehamwood plots and are feeling really daft
right now.

The land isn't worthless as we do own the title deeds. Since it's
right next to an existing recent development it's still a viable site
for some point in the future. We're not holding our breath, of
course, but I doubt that returning the land to UKLI in the hope of
getting something back or going out all guns blazing hoping to sue
someone (anyone) is going to help much.

As mentioned in other posts, I'm sure that it would be worth getting
as many plot holders together as possible and working out our options
when the administrators publish their reports.

They say a fool and his money are easily parted, and I hate what that
makes me!

Hello all

I also own a plot in Finchampstead.  I would be joining any action group or appointing someone to co-ordinate the sale of the land to a developer in the future if that is at all possible.

Thanks

Sandeep
