Whoever is leading on this plot owners group perhaps could consider getting an MP or two on board from the South of England.

this is a good suggestion but most of us are international - can someone in UK do this ...??

Unfortunately, you need to be site specific as "the company" involved, sold plots throughout the UK. Some of the sites are on article 4 protected land and will never get planning. Groups need to be set up in relation to each particular project. No point someone who owns a plot in Hertfordshire promoting a plot in Cambridge - will never happen. My suggestion is you work / collaborate with individuals who own plots in the same field.
