Marred by the litigations and hanging sword of enhancements the sale and purchase in Sector-57 was almost stagnant since last 3-4 years. Now one could feel the Catch 22 situation is unfolding as there have been quite a few transactions that have taken place in last 2-3 months.

There was pure lull in real estate which was not only confined to Sector-57 but was prevalent in whole Gurgaon and for that matter in whole of India, barring few exceptions like Bengaluru and Tier III cites. Sellers are generally those who are in need of money or have better options in this down market, similarly buyers are only genuine end users not investors. Hence this trend may not be permanent as what we have seen in past many years that upward move in property is because of investors.
