Kali NetHunter is available for un-rooted devices (NetHunter Rootless), for rooted devices that have a custom recovery (NetHunter Lite), and for rooted devices with custom recovery for which a NetHunter specific kernel is available (NetHunter).

Both rooted editions provide additional tools & services.A custom kernel can extend that functionality by adding additional network and USB gadget drivers as well as wifi injection support for selected wifi chips.

NetHunter Lite can be installed on all Android devices that are rooted and have a custom recovery.The full NetHunter experience requires a devices specific kernel that has been purpose built for Kali NetHunter.The NetHunter GitLab repository contains over 164 kernels for over 65 devices. Using odin 3.10 and TWRP to push the Nethunter 4 OS to the phone, script appears to go fine but ends with attempting to locate the kali install file and stops at 90%. It does say this may take a while, however a couple hours pass and there is no change.

at work now so cant view github pages, but I think I know the article you are talking about and they are using a amd64 image with partial load prior to pushing the full rolling load on a phone, not the actual nethunter zip files. With the nexus I have coming in I should be able to just use the zip files from the site.

@ogra, @ijohnson I think I installed it from full kali linux image file which is a single file and have some difference with installations like Userland and Anlinux . I get following result when running snap version,

I just installed the Nethunter Rom, on OnePlus One and everything works fine. but when i'm outside af Wifi range, my Phone can't use the mobile data, so i can't use the browser and market ETC. I checked settings, and the mobile data was enabled! and i have rebooted the phone. after i checked/unchecked the mobile data option. so i have no idea how to fix this. Have any of you tryed something like this?

Same thing happened to me. After installing nethunter i had the same problem. The problem was solved by changing the APN under the Mobile netwrok settings(Settings -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> And find one that works for you. For me, I was using AT&T and the ATT Broadband worked for me. Good luck

So basically, it is a super mobile Kali Linux platform built specifically for Nexus devices with pre-programmed attacks. And before I leave you all to have a look about for yourselves, there are some key things that you should know.

I've already briefly outlined what you can do with NetHunter in the article; I also doubt you'd be able to get it to run on a Sony Xperia phone as it's built specifically for the Nexus 5. However, never say never.

You need a USB OTG Cable and an usb Wifi adapter like the TP-LInk wn727 because it is very cheap an have one of the best Atheros Chip vor wifi hacking. Wifi hacking is very simple because there is an tool caled WIFIte that do the work automatic for you. You just select witch wifi you want to hack an WIFIte do the rest. WPA spots hackt in under 10 min.

it's pretty simple , root your device then download complete linux installer from google play . then follow directions to download kali linux and install . presto kali linux among many distributions on any rooted android device.

There's not much to say about the link. If you're unfamiliar with some of the terms used in the guide; I would suggest being very careful or not attempting it at all. It could completely brick your phone.

Experience shows that bricked androids do not exist , but I'm not one to argue after checking the all so gruesome repartition box and recovered with ease.
