The card is old since I would not like to go for newer drivers from the official National instruments site since I have a 16 bit program that needs to access the card. Also the driver CD that came with card is now molded which is not useful anymore.
We have a few of the NI PXI GPIB cards ( -us/support/model.pxi-gpib.html) and want to set up communication from one card to another. Are there any articles/examples I can read on how to set this up? Attempting to use NI-MAX and the interactive control results in a bus error once I connect two cards together.
We have a PC in our production environment that was running Windows 7 32-bit and has been upgraded to Windows 10 32-bit. The NI488.2 driver in NI Max has DOS Support enabled because there is a DOS application that we need to run on the computer that uses GPIB. Upon trying to enable in after upgrading to Windows 10 32-bit, the program complains that the Config.nt file needs a device line pointing to gpib-nt.com. I updated the file to add the line and I still cannot enable DOS support.

During the initial power-up sequence, Windows should detect the presence of the PCI/PXI card and install the software drivers. If this fails to happen, check your procedure very carefully; make sure the drivers were installed and the correct power-up sequence was used.
