Beer and Wine Sprint Update

Hi,

You may be aware that the 2014 Beer and Wine sprint is happening this weekend with the Cape Town and Munich Plone communities. Munich will sprint from Saturday till Wednesday, whereas we are going to sprint only on Saturday and Sunday. Thank you to Vulcan Labs for providing the venue in Somerset West.

This year we want to confine the sprint to addressing specific issues that are related to a single area of the code base. We believe that it will be more productive than last year when we chose issues related to a broad section. Please choose the area you'd like to work on from the current list:

• Finalizing of the new Plone 5-Theme
  
• Cleanup (formlib > z3cform, portal properties > p.a.registry, tools and skins > browserviews)
  
• plone.app.toolbar and the new folder-contents
  
• plone.app.contenttypes
  
• plone.app.widgets
  
• Cleanup plone.de, Review content, Layout
  

We are looking for Plone users (non-developers) that would be interested in participating through updating manuals, translations, etc and hope you will invite your clients/colleagues to attend.

Please indicate on this list the times that you will attend as this will help us with the logistics. We'd like to have a braai/dinner on Saturday evening and you’re welcome to pop in just for the social.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the update. I managed to reschedule part of my previous commitment so I will join you on Sunday. Depending on what time I get back I might pop in for the braai on Saturday.

Unfortunately I will not have much time to prepare for the sprint so I'll join on whatever you guys are busy with.

I propose we work on plone.app.contenttypes. More knowledge of the OOTB dexerity types should improve the quality of my own types. I see there are 18 open issues.
