Plone and Pyramid usergroup meeting - November

Hi everyone

The next Meetup is taking place next week Wednesday 6 November. I must confess that I have lost track of where the next one should be - was this discussed at the October Meetup?

The previous months' Meetups were as follows:

• August - Stellenbosch
  
• September - Somerset West
  
• October - Lakeside
  
• November - ?
  

Please advise. Also, will anyone be presenting?

Hi guys

I can now already say that I won't be attending any meeting in December
as our wedding will be around that time.

About this month, if there is interest in meeting in Stellenbosch or
Somerset West then I'll be happy to meet up.

This will be my last meeting until at least April next year.

I think enthusiasm has fizzled out a bit. There's also some stiff
competition lately with the Helderberg devs (and other) meetups.

Sorry for not replying earlier. Looks like I'm going to have to give
this one a skip: Stellenbosch Innovation District thing is happening
that evening, I'm going there, looking for hackerspace opportunities.

I'd really like it if Witek could give us a bit of feedback on the
Ploneconf, since I didn't make it this year..

Maybe we should just skip this month, and I'll join you there :)

Responses have been a little slow, but I haven't been following up either... Busy busy. 

Any other thoughts on the November Meetup, or shall we skip it?

Hi all,

I'm on the road at the moment and I don't know when I will be back in town. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to attend any of the meetings this year.

Ploneconf was good. All the talks were recorded but where they are is a mystery.. even the conference photo has eluded me thus far. Erico said it would take a few weeks for the videos.. perhaps we need some embarrasment driven tweets to get the brazilians to deliver?

In the meantime searching slideshare for "ploneconf 2013" might give you guys some idea of what went down. Not ideal but it is at least something??

My apologies, I lost track of this conversation as I have been sick and dealing with our own deadlines. It seems that most people are ok with skipping this month (the Meetup should be tomorrow!), so let's do that, and we can check in closer to the December one, which should be Wednesday 4 December.
