Hi everyone

Greetings of the new year to you all.

The next Meet Up is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 5 February. I propose that this one be in Somerset West at the Old Bridge Tavern, and the March Meet up be in the Muizenberg area?

Does anyone have anything they'd like to present?

Thanks
Bridget

Just a friendly check in on this Meet up - is there any interest in the 5 February event?

Great! Would either of you like to present?

If a few more people pitch up, I'd like to show some detail behind a new site we built:

Thanks Johan.

I have updated the Meetup page, and as we get sign ups I will edit as necessary. The link is: http://www.meetup.com/Plone-Pyramid-Western-Cape/events/163003882/

We have four sign ups so far for the Meetup on Wednesday. Johan, would you like to present?

Yes, I'll put something together. I also want to chat a bit about having another Beer and Wine sprint, as we did last year. The Germans are looking at end of March, which falls in the school holidays. I already indicated I'm keen and will organise, given that we keep it quite low key and relaxed.

Low key is good. It would be cool if people can commit to spending some hours sprinting over those days, be that from home/office remotely or a communal venue. That way we can commit to klapping a few items on the sprint list.

I'm also going to ask my clients if they'd like to participate - there's always documentation to be done.

And we must have at least one braai/beer/wine social!

I hope we can all get together at a communal venue.

Sprinting remotely would remove the main personal benefit of sprinting,
which is the opportunity to pair program with other developers.

I think having another code Dojo like last time would be a great way of getting
everyone involved again.

We're trying to organise some sprinting space at Vulcan labs in Somerset West. Close enough for most of us, and should have enough space.
