Plone and Pyramid usergroup meeting - April

Hi everyone

Did you decide at the last meeting if you would move the day of the monthly meetings? Some people were not able to make the first Wednesday of the month.

Also, will this month's meet up be at a restaurant again? La Pineta?

Hi Bridget,

We found La Pineta to be too much of an upscale restaurant vibe. The thoughts were of another location, the name eludes me now. Maybe the others remember?
Also we decided to keep the first Wednesdays (right guys?)

Yes, as far as I remember 1st Wednesday stands.

And La Pineta, while a great restaurant, turned out not-so-good for our meetups. We in fact speculated about going back to Buena Vista.

Sorry for being a bit late.

Concerning our discussion of venue last time, we agreed that we'll move
it around since we're all distributed.

So, IIRC we said the next meeting will be in SW, then Stellenbosch and
then Kalk bay.

I'm not a huge fan of that place.

I prefer to move away from the more traditional restaurants and back to
pubs, where the atmosphere is more relaxed and a group like us can also
be louder.

Going to restaurants creates an expectation of having to eat (often
people don't want to eat anything) and also makes attending the meetings
more expensive.

Last night for the Helderberg Devs group, we were at the Arksey Village
pub in SW which I enjoyed.

Then there's also the Old Bridge Tavern in SW which has a nice outside
area next to the Lourens river.

I'd therefore suggest Old Bridge Tavern.

I will be there. My suggestion for a venue in S-West is Primi Piatti
near the Vodacom Golf Village.
