Title: Wireless Network Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Expert in Cisco Wireless, Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems design, enhancements and optimization 
• Diplomatic resolution of client wireless connectivity issues
• To communicate effectively and efficiently within the team and across business lines to support incident resolution. 
•  Escalate issues affecting delivery of service to management in a timely manner 
•  Understand and manage the requirements of being part of a 24x7 on-call operation, including but not limited to, shift hand-over, operational advice, guidance, support and escalation 
•  Understand the scope, delivery mechanisms and processes of all Services delivered by Managed Services 
•  Execution of the Managed Services business plan and strategies relating to Engineering. 
•  Proven ability to work well under pressure with time sensitive constraints.

I. Technical expertise:

• Core R&S, Nexus & Meraki Wireless network, Wan Optimization: Riverbed or any other tool etc.Excellent Comm skills.. they need a vocal person. some exp on running small projects individually..
  
• Basic VPN & Firewall
  
• a. Thorough knowledge at expert level of LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high- availability environments;
  
• b. Advanced knowledge of large scale LAN/WAN switching and routing implementation and operation with specific knowledge of VLAN, VPN networking;
  
• c. Knowledge of QoS and LAN traffic management techniques;
  
• d. Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles, practices and technologies;
  
• e. Understanding of core Internet routing protocols and services;
  
• 
  
• II. Leadership and management skills: demonstrated ability to lead a team, providing clear direction, motivating staff, managing their performance appropriately and fairly, and dealing with possible conflicts.
