The Principal Network Security Engineer is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and designing network security systems.
The Network Security Engineering team is responsible for Firewalls, IDS/IPS, AAA, TACACS, VPN, ACL’s, Web Proxy and maintaining a secure enterprise network computing environment.
Experience:
8+ Years of experience in IT ranging from Desktop support to Network Security Architecture
Engineering Level Support And Administration Of The Following
IPS/IDS
Network Firewalls (Check Point, Cisco, vmWare)
Web Proxy systems (Check Point, BlueCoat)
AAA/TACACS/RADIUS
Experience with network and application security in a network serving 10,000 or more users and a global footprint.
Minimum of 8+ years network engineering experience with one or more of the following in a large corporate environment: Network Firewalls (Next Gen), Web Proxy or IDS/IPS appliances.
Architectural experience with common components of an enterprise network security system: firewalls, application layer gateways, AAA servers, segmented networks; experience automating deployment or utilization of these systems.
Experience with security design for multi-service enterprise Wi-Fi networks with multiple classes of users.
Oversees management and direction for all planning, control and operational functions for Check Point, ASA,IPS, IDS and Firewall infrastructure
Lead role in security systems deployments, configuration, monitoring and reporting architecture.
Ensures that the IT infrastructure is compliant with all regulatory requirements (i.e. 21 CFR Part 11), existing INCR SOPs and WIs, and generally accepted industry practices.
Assists with vulnerability assessments, security testing, and working with IT Security on remediation and mitigation findings.
Coordinates resources, project schedules, and communications for systems projects.
The Sr. Security Engineer provides support to planning, designing, and implementing security controls which safeguard and monitor events for information systems, enterprise applications and data.
Provides off hours support on an infrequent, but as needed basis.
