Firstly, I have set no date, time or location for this yet just trying to get a head count and idea of typical availability. So please say if you're interested and what your availability is like. Whatever happens I want to get this done by May 9.

Anyone interested in a Python Web App Sprint Meetup. I have a few ideas and thought a few of you might want to try your hand at them. My goal is to get two VERY BASIC apps done by May 9.

The skillsets needed on this project:
--------------------------------------------------------
  • Experience with any of the following APIs would be helpful (Twitter API, Google Data API including charts and Docs)
  • Frontend development (CSS, Javascript/Jquery)
  • Backend development (Flask, Google App Engine)

This should be a great opportunity to learn stuff, so I don't mind if you want to just learn new stuff, over the shoulder coders are welcomed.

There may be a cost if we want to get Pizza  or something during the sprint.

Okay.. so what is your availability like? I'm hoping we get between 4 and 7 participants but I want to set the schedule around persons who are definitely going to be able to show up.

I will be at CARIMAC between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm tomorrow (Saturday) doing my pre-sprint planning, I will release a list of tasks for the actual sprint. If you want to pass through and discuss things in person then, just let me know to look out for you.

I'm definitely interested. I should be available. Will confirm in the coming week.
