Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Duration : 12+ Months contract
Visa : EAD,
Greencard or US Citizens
We are seeking a strong consultant to help our client investigate portal issues and determine best solutions; troubleshoot, debug and solve technology integration and performance problems; and collaborate with Architects to ensure that the products and components work together, meet defined standards, and meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.
Preference given to experience in the following areas:
Manufacturing functional domain
Intranet/Internet site development
Web and Application Security
Performance
Quality
Operational aspects

Technical Skills required:
Recent enterprise level project experience on IBM Websphere Portal to be able to bring value to our effort of creating an Enterprise Internet/Intranet (Prefer 6.x or higher).
Recent skills/experience and in-depth knowledge of Java portlets (JSR 168 / JSR 286) Experience with Portal API and Portlet API Recent skills/experience and in-depth knowledge of IBM Web Content Management (WCM) to be able to independently add/manage content, as well as understand performance and security issues o Includes WCM development (site areas, presentation/authoring templates, etc) and JSR 286 Portlet development.
In-depth knowledge of XSLT, Portlet API, HTML, CSS to be able to perform without assistance Exposure to Portal Administration, LDAP, Domino, RDBMS, Web/HTTP Proficient in the use of software development tools (IBM Rational Application Developer, Clear Case, Clear Quest) and techniques in software projects
