Good.

I am okay to start with the Photo case, but could we add that this
should work with any content that we want to share ? a document, a
file, a folder containng personal bookmarks ?

We could just use an IShareWithFriends interface for use with those
content types.

I added the start of some integrator scenarios so we can agree on the kind
of policy decisions we want to make available to integrators.
e.g. Can integrators nominate types to share? Users who can share? Roles
they can share? Sections of the site that can be shared? Workflow state that
allows/disallows sharing?
Traditionally permissions have been the method for deciding this kind of
policy. Why not use that? Does it give us all the flexibility we need?

Completed with Alernative Use Case about Collaborative Spaces, so you
could use Plone + plonesocial to handle little communities or groups
like Google Groups or OpenPlans does.

Note that the implementation only needs to work on a standard Folder.

Since I am not so deep into this I have a few questions, I feel
uncomfortable changing/adding use cases, so I prefer to ask some
questions, not to sound overly critical but as something like
suggestions or comments or changes for a usecase:

-- Alternative content: does this mean also newly defined content ?
What if we were to define a document of text, images, video.. all in
one as a document. Then I would like to share this etc etc.

-- new login and password: does login mean either "email" or "email +
nickname" ?

-- What if we invite a group. (Aside from import from hotmail) so
assume you type in 3 emails. Does the system automatically create 3
different links, 3 usernames/logins and 3 temporary passwords ?

-- Perhaps this is part of a different usecase, I don't know, but
would we need an area where we can see our invited friends ? I imagine
we would organize them as a list with the different projects listed
next to their name/photo ? Then per project you would see the
thumbnail photos/names of the people you "share" this with ?

-- Sharing: how is this defined ? Just watching ? What if people add a
comment to an image. Do we have versioning, archive, history or
something ? What if 3 users make different comments ? How would this
be "archived/stored" ?

One more question:

-- This person who invites to share, is basically a mini-manager. Does
this person have all the rights for this shared piece of content ? Can
this person then also give the (same) rights to others who share this
object ? Is all this possible in Zope/Plone ?
