There are only a few of you who have joined up, but every group of
users has to start somewhere. I was wondering what anyone thinks
about the possibility of collaborating on a project together.

Some project ideas:
Bring Bika to Plone 3.2.

Start a new informatics project and give it a new name.

Does anyone have a good start on something they'd like to have some
help with?

cheers.

I am very interested in the Bika Project. I am going to be sampling
our Researchers and see which direction they want to go in the
beginning. Bioinformatics, Freezer inventory, data analysis(Chris
similar to the one you showed in DC. We have to pull data off a
Realtime PCR machine. I plan on downloading the Bika product this
week and get familiar with it.

thanks

Well, NREL has a working relationship with CU, so I bet I'd be able to
share some
code with you for the data analysis part. I also have some tricks for
pulling data
from various sources.

Bika runs on plone 2.5, and is rather clunky from the reports I get
around here.
But, it seems to solve some problems for people. Maybe making it work
on Plone 3
would be a good use of time.... maybe not. I look forward to hearing
about your own
experiences.

cheers.
