TodayI received a notice that my subscription could not be renewed, since my payment details have changed recently. I somehow hadn't realized that the subscription had continued for another year, charging me an additional $25.31 in April 2017. In any case, I'm glad that I'm now aware of this, and I'd like to cancel the subscription.
However, there is no Cancel Plan link when I click on Manage Plan. The page instructs me to contact support in the event that the Cancel Plan link is missing. When I follow that link, I can indicate my product (Adobe Export PDF) and the category of question (How To...). The page only gives me to option of posting on these forums for help (presumably because today is Sunday!).
So here I am. Please cancel my subscription to this service. It worked well for me, but I haven't needed it for some time. I would further encourage the addition of a Cancel Plan link on the Manage Plan page, as this would further streamline the process for users, even on weekends Thanks!
Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. I have checked the records with your Adobe ID(email) and there is no Adobe order registered/associated with it. If you have purchased via Adobe Reader for iOS or Android are paid through Apple's iTunes App Store and Android's Play Store. If you want to cancel them, you have to contact Apple or Google support.
I have checked the record with your current Adobe ID, and the current Adobe ExportPDF service is in an inactive state due to payment pending issue, and this is the reason you are not getting the self-cancellation option on the website.
I have opened a case with Adobe through my credit card provider. This is the biggest joke of a service I have ever dealt with. The fact that you guys continue to charge people yearly when they can't easily cancel their membership is a scam in itself. I will never purchase a product from adobe again.
I have the exact same issue. I want to cancel this and I am shocked to find out that I have been charged annually from my personal account, when I get it free through my university where I am a faculty member. Cancel and refund immediately.
We have also tried to check the order number that you have shared. However, there is no record of any subscription. Please ensure that the order number that you have shared is correct. It would be helpful if you can share the email address that was used to purchase this order via the private message. You can send the private message using the envelope icon provided at the top right-hand corner on this community page.
I also realized that I have no option to cancel my Adobe Acrobat Export to pdf recurring charge and I ask that this be cancelled for my order number below. I have also asked American Express to permanently block charges from Adobe for the future to prevent this from ever happening again. Thank you.
There might be a possibility you may have registered with any alternate email address. If you have an alternate email address, please share it with us via private message. You may initiate a private message using the envelope icon at the top right corner.
I have got the same problem. I can't find a membership for Adobe in my account and still EUR 24,54 was withdrawn from our bankaccount. I cant find an invoice also. This looks not good. I want whatver it is what we are paying for cancelled and I want to receive the money back. It was withdrawn on 17 December 2022.
You can find your bills on the Billing page of your Shopify admin. The Billing page includes an overview of your recent bills. You can click a recent bill to view your detailed bill, or to download your bill for your records.
To keep a record of your bills and access a detailed breakdown of your charges, you can export bills in either CSV or PDF format. If you choose PDF, then the exported bill consists of two main sections:
The overview section provides a summary of the total amount for the bill, along with a breakdown of how it's divided among your subscription, apps, other charges, and taxes. You can find important details such as billing periods, store name, payment method, and types of charges. This section might also include notices regarding upcoming payments or specific requirements, such as reverse charge VAT for certain regions or countries.
A billing cycle is the length of time between bills. You can change this time interval, but you can't choose a specific day of the month to receive your bills. Bills are issued using the UTC time zone.
Shopify has both recurring charges and one-time charges. Make sure that you understand the different recurring or one time charges that can appear on your bills. One-time charges, such as the fees you pay for registering a domain or for purchasing a theme, appear on a separate bill.
If your business is located in a Canadian or American jurisdiction where Shopify has a business presence, then Shopify is required by law to charge applicable taxes on your subscription. You also see a taxes calculation based on your location.
In addition to monthly subscription billing, Shopify also issues bills throughout the month according to your plan-based billing threshold. Billing thresholds are dollar values that trigger billing whenever the cost of your account activity exceeds its threshold amount.
You receive a bill whenever the total of your third-party transaction fees and other outstanding charges exceeds your account's threshold. Monthly subscription fees are included in your running total, but they are not included in threshold bills.
If you have any third-party transaction fees or other charges during your current billing cycle, then your store's threshold appears in the Current billing cycle section of the Billing page in your Shopify admin. If you have no transaction fees or charges, then your store's threshold doesn't appear.
If you reach your billing threshold and you're issued with a bill, you can continue to buy shipping labels until the total reaches 110% of your threshold. No further purchases can be made until you pay for the issued bill. For example, if your threshold is $400, and your account's activity reaches $400, then you'll be issued a bill. You can still purchase shipping labels until your account activity reaches $440 (110% of $400), but any more purchases after that can be made only after you've paid your bill of $400.
If your store uses a third-party payment provider, then you can incur transaction fees on your store's transactions. Combined with any recurring app charges or other fees, this can lead to your store being billed before your regular subscription billing cycle. Review the following guidelines for when you can expect a bill from Shopify:
If your store uses Shopify Payments, then the credit card processing rates are deducted from your orders automatically. For any other outstanding charges, including recurring charges for any apps that you've installed, you're billed either when the total of your outstanding charges exceeds one of your store's billing thresholds, or at the end of your 30-day billing cycle, whichever comes first.
