Plivo with Freeswitch 1.6?

Hi,
does anyone have experience running Plivo with FreeSWITCH 1.6, given that 1.4 and below is not supported anymore?
Master still refers to ancient FreeSWITCH versions. https://github.com/plivo/plivoframework/blob/master/freeswitch/install.sh#L79
Should it generally work? Anything to watch out for?
