Plivo Dial -- OutboundSocket Timeout

I am noticing an issue where calls that last more than 1 hour are being disconnected prematurely.  It looks as though the Plivo outboundsocket  is waiting(timeout=3600) for an event after a command is executed.  In the case of a <Dial> no events show up until the call is completed.  For calls lasting longer than an hour Plivo thinks the socket is dead and ends the call.  Is there a way to ignore/increase timeout for the <Dial> command?  Or is there a better way to handle this?
