Hi,

The links to the installation files on the following webpage (https://atgu.mgh.harvard.edu/plinkseq/download.shtml) are broken and I'm unable to compile from the source files on bitbucket. Is there another link that I should download the files from? I see that the webpage and bitbucket pages haven't been updated for a long time.

Thanks,
Arslan

Hi,

Have you found a solution yet? I am running into the same issue.

All links to resource files are also broken.

Have you gotten any response on your issue?

I am also looking for this. Would it be possible for someone to post a copy here?

I don't think anyone's watching this group. This software is not being updated anymore. I ended up writing my own scripts but you could try Biobin, which seems to perform many of the same functions:

Another software that I would recommend (i've personally used this) is rvtest: https://github.com/zhanxw/rvtests

good luck!

Thanks. I guess it’s used in this recent pipeline (which oddly uses archaic dependencies in general although published in 2019):

Therefore I’m hoping to find a copy. So far I didn’t compile a non-buggy version from the bitbucket repository.

Hi,

The links on the original website are broken. I could download it using conda environment https://anaconda.org/hcc/plinkseq
But I am not able to build DB as resources page - http://atgu.mgh.harvard.edu/plinkseq/resources.shtml also not working.
Did you find any other solution/alternative other than the software mentioned here?

Thanks,
Ravi

Hi Ravi,

I don't think anyone is updating plinkseq anymore. you can use rvtests as I mentioned earlier: https://github.com/zhanxw/rvtests

Yeah. I was just making sure that it hasn't moved to any other URL.
Thanks for your reply.

Ravi
