CID cleavable crosslinkers (BuUrBu & DSSO) with pLink

Hei everybody

I was wondering if pLink can deal with CID cleavable crosslinkers such as DSSO or BuUrBu. Does pLink take advantage of the characteristic marker ions?
Did anybody try this already? Can anyone share the relevant .ini file?

Hi Jonas,

According to my knowledge, pLink doesn't have special design for the CID cleavable crosslinkers, such as take advantage of the characteristic marker ions. However, I think you can search mass spectra of  CID cleavable crosslinkers with pLink. The only issue is that some big theoretical fragment ions will not be assigned. For now, pLink is not a perfect solution for CID cleavable crosslinkers, but it should work.
