Hi everyone,

After a while, my group finally had new research questions regarding crosslinking of proteins. :) So, in the mean time we switched from a Thermo Velos to a Thermo Fusion Tribit with ETD. How well is pLink able to process that kind of data, can I just run a combined HCD/ETD method and analyze that? Or do I have to measure HCD and ETD seperately?

Thanks, Vincent

I have the same question. Will you guys implement EThcD fragmentation in the future? Or development of pLink has come to an end?

In case I don't get any response and you did somewhere else (Vincent) ...please let me know!

Cheers

Hi! I'm still using plink and am using it mainly in HCD mode as the authors also claim, still, that that's what plink is optimised for. However, I'm ofcourse still wanting to perform a combined mode with etd for peptides that do better with that and hcd for the others. I'm just getting into the process of looking for alternatives as well, but didn't see many of those yet.
