Avatar Bettas can be housed with other peaceful fish species, but careful consideration is needed. Suitable tank mates are those that do not provoke the Betta's territorial instincts, such as small, non-aggressive schooling fish. Avoiding fin-nippers or larger aggressive fish is crucial to prevent stress and potential harm to the Betta.
Breeding Avatar Bettas involves creating a nurturing environment where the male builds a bubble nest for the fertilized eggs. Prior to breeding, both partners should be conditioned with a nutrient-rich diet to ensure health and successful spawning. After spawning, the female is typically removed to prevent aggression from the male, who takes responsibility for egg care.
Avatar Bettas exhibit curious and interactive behaviors, often engaging with their environment and the aquarium's inhabitants. They are known for their vibrant color display and active swimming patterns, which can be a sign of their wellbeing. Regular observation of their behavior can provide insights into their health and happiness.
Male Avatar Bettas are generally more colorful with larger, more ornate fins than their female counterparts. Females tend to have shorter fins and a less vibrant coloration. A key distinguishing feature in females is the presence of an ovipositor, a white spot near the ventral fins, especially visible when they are ready to breed.
The ideal water conditions for Avatar Bettas include a temperature range of 76-81F and a pH level around 7.0. Consistently clean and well-oxygenated water is crucial, necessitating regular water changes and effective filtration. Monitoring for ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates helps in maintaining a healthy aquatic environment.
Common health issues in Avatar Bettas include fin rot, a fungal or bacterial infection affecting fins; bacterial infections, which can impact their overall health; and swim bladder disease, affecting their buoyancy. Maintaining clean water, a balanced diet, and a stress-free environment are key preventative measures.
The ideal habitat for an Avatar Betta is a well-maintained aquarium mimicking their natural environment. This includes a minimum tank size of 5 gallons, soft substrate, live plants for hiding and exploring, and decorations without sharp edges. Stable water conditions and a gentle filtration system are also important.
While a dark substrate can indeed create a visually appealing setup, there are considerations to keep in mind for Black Galaxy Bettas. A dark substrate might cause these Bettas to blend in, potentially making them less visible.
LOL, Tarina. Lots of people like it. Too each our own as they say. I like Blueberry and would love a sale longer than a few days because I had an awful time caming in and couldn't get too much at all as my camera just wouldn't go in any farther. Other people would say barf to Blueberry, and it has too many triangles. So, see, it's a too each their own. I do not, however, shop only at Blueberry nor do I count the triangles either for the clothing I buy. I'm just too busy for that. SL has less lag for me in the clouds now too.
@FairreLilette Not sure which viewer you use, but in Firestorm (and I am pretty sure most others) have the ability to turn off camera restraints which should fix your camming issue. It is under the advanced menu which should be at the top of your screen should or (CTRL+ALT+D) should enable you to see it.
They don't have any of the weird geometry issues that the Signature Gianni has, like the terminally flat ass OR the man-boobs when you make the chest to big OR the blocky quads when you make the legs to muscular. Nor do they have the neck issues that continue to plague the Belleza Jake (my current personal all-round favorite male body).
I'd have to say there is a fair amount of men's clothing for it. A few creators are also updating older items to include Legacy sizing. I'm sure it is nowhere near the amount available for the other popular brands. I think more women than men contact creators and ask for sizes, too. I've done so and have had fairly good responses. It never hurts to ask and maybe if they see how many requests for a specific body they receive, they may decide to include it.
I agree with that for sure and have said so before...but it's the Legacy Athletic Body, Swimmer Shape, which comes with purchase that I think is totally hot. Not all men would want to keep that shape though as most like to make their own shape...but swimmer shape...best male body in SL for sure.
As far as disputes about Legacy vs Maitreya. Maitreya is an exceptional company and goes way out of her way to add a lot of cool stuff at no charge when she updates and Maitreya's updates are free. Legacy...well...their history still has me steering clear of them plus what I really want is a super thin ballet dancer or super model type of body with great bone structure. I'm just NOT into Kardashian stuff nor look which I feel has been done to death already. I felt for newbies for men since they didn't buy the body and then have to pay another 5K linden to upgrade to BOM, it's a good body for newbies, the men's. But...most men don't want an item with a history like this from this company. Most men do not seem interested in Legacy men's. Men are more cautious that way.
Arizona-based Taylor Morrison Home Corp. has agreed to terms to purchase AV Homes, commonly referred to as Avatar, for the price of $963 million. AV Homes is the primary developer in the Association of Poinciana Villages, an HOA of about 27,000 homes.
APV is divided into nine villages with each governed by a five-member board. One member of each village board is selected to serve on the APV master board. For unplatted lands, the developer can cast block votes for homes that could be built on those properties.
A civic group of homeowners known as Friends of Poinciana Villages says the number of votes cast are inconsistent with land development regulations and conservation standards. It claims the developer has used large block votes to keep people on APV boards who are favorable to the developer.
The ongoing litigation claims APV has violated the 1985 agreement that the developer was supposed to turn over control to the residents. Another claim is that the HOA violated the state's Marketable Record Title Act that requires deed restrictions to be updated every 30 years.
Attorneys Jennifer Englert and Jeff Smith, of Orlando Law Group representing the homeowners, did not respond to multiple calls or emails from The Ledger requesting comment on what the sale could mean for their clients. Tom Slaten, an attorney with Larsen and Associates who represents APV, also did not return The Ledger's call, but told an APV spokeswoman that he would know more about election protocols once the sale is finalized. A media contact number for Taylor Morrison was no longer in service.

I'm having a problem with the cost basis of short sells. Forexample, yesterday I shorted 50 XYZ @ 94.6 for a total of -4730.00with 10.12 in commission and FEC fees. This is the only position onXYZ I currently have open. Strangely the cost basis as reported inthe portfolio view is -4595.06. The cost basis should be -4730.00 +10.11 = -4719.88. Now, I do have buy and sell transactions on thatsecurity in the past so my guess is that the calculation is somehowmingling lots from the past. The cost basis report doesn't seem toeven display short/cover lots. The capital gains report doesdisplay short sells, but the cost basis is always zero which makesit look like you made a lot of money and that of coursescrews up the calculation for the entire security which thenpropagates to the entire investment account. Am I doing somethingwrong?
