A Granular Recovery Technology (GRT) enabled backup of a SharePoint database fails with the error "V-79-57344-33928 Access is Denied" in a Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) setup when the Content Database is hosted on a separate server from the Config Database inside the Microsoft##SSEE embedded SQL instance on the Sharepoint Server.

While running a GRT backup, an ODBC connection needs to be established to the Configuration DB hosted inside the Microsoft##SSEE embedded SQL instance from the SQL server hosting the Content databases.
