I'm trying to make my phone aesthetic by creating custom icons, you get the point. Its been working fantastically... until it didnt. I click on "add shortcut to desktop" and the app just freezes then kicks me off... I've waited a few hours to help it reset and maybe work, but that didnt do anything... I'm afraid if I uninstall and re-install I'll lose all my app shortcuts... What do I do? Anyone got any tips?
X Icon Changer is a super useful app that you can use to change up your apps' icons with unique designs. If you want to give your smartphone a new and totally customized look, this is the app for you. With it, you can swap out one icon for another, including those you design yourself.
The advantage of using this app is that you can select any image from your gallery as an icon for a given app. Put a photo of your pet as the icon for your favorite game or make a special image to help you find a certain app in an instant. With X Icon Changer, you can let your imagination run wild.
Besides custom icons, you can also use this app to change the app's name to whatever you want. X Icon Changer even includes an icon exchange option where you can use one app's icon as another's with nothing more than a tap.
Every time you download a new app, X Icon Changer will notify you in case you want to change its icon immediately. Finally, you can choose the appropriate crop for whatever image you select in order to get the perfect look. After that, the icon will appear in most places, although the real one will still be shown in your smartphone's complete list of apps.
This script will change the attributes of all sub-directories then using the icon located within \Icon of sub-directories will create a relevant Desktop.ini that changes the folder icon and a few other settings (If there is an icon located within \Icon)
The script works in that it changes the attributes of relevant folders and creates Desktop.ini (Except if there is an exclamation mark!). Though it does not always change the icon of the folder. If I manually change Desktop.ini to "." and then back to Desktop.ini it instantly changes the folder icon. So is there a way of renaming Desktop.ini with attributes in tact?
I'm new to Google Chrome extensions and I've created one for our website that checks the content of the page you're on and bases on that gets the ID of the server (we have a webfarm with 4 VM's). Now using the server ID, I wan't to change the extension icon to show the number there. I've tried using :
To be clear, I am not against change in any form. I could be happy to welcome a new and improved set of icons for SketchUp Pro. But to receive my support, the essence of the change would need to be a clear step forward in functionality, a change that shows deep understanding and consideration for the needs of the 8 hour a day Professional user, with a design objective to optimize efficiency and clarity.
One great way to personalise your desktop is to customise your icons. You can use IconChanger to change personal file icons by assigning an icon of your choice to each and every file on your computer. To use it, select the file you wish to personalize and right click it with your mouse. If Icon Changer can change its icon, you will see the Change Icon symbol but bear in mind that not all icons can be changed. You can assign or reset icons for multiple objects at once and to set or reset an icon for a file type, you can launch Icon Changer for any file of the desired type. In the IconPane you will see the content of the file containing the icon used for the current object. IconChanger allows you to automatically search for icons contained in various executable files and DLLs saved on your hard drive. Once you've selected the icon you consider the most suitable, press the "Set" button and you're all changed! Unfortunately, not every icon you select can be changed and in the end, it often becomes more tedious changing the hundreds of icons on your PC than just leaving them as they are.
It's a hassle-free way to personalize your desktop without submerging yourself into reading books about advanced computing. Simply click the icon you want to change, point at the one you like and that's all.
I would love to be able to change that flag to a different icon so it does not overlap our custom map. A simple crosshair or anything. Not one icon will work for everyone so being able to control that in your Survey 123 Connect and then push out to your survey would be fantastic.
Drive Icon Changer helps you customize your hard drive icon shown in My Computer and Windows Explorer to an icon of your personal choice. Like Turn Off LCD, I developed this little tool in C# using Visual Studio 2008 to change drive icons on the fly. It just takes a couple of clicks to customize the icon to your personal choice.
Of course you can change the icons manually too by creating an *.inf yourself and then adding those lines etc. but with this application, you can change the icon and then can restore back to the original all with just a couple of clicks.
UPDATE: Due to popular demand we received about the icons, we decided to bundled them all and have released them in a package.
You can Download Drive Icon Pack for Drive Icon Changer here.
I am having trouble figuring out how to change the colors of the magnifying glass and the hamburger menu icon in the header. They are currently gray, which will look awful on top of a green header. The white icons will also match the new header logo.
However, perhaps as we are now on one of the latest releases, now the home, search, and menu icons are greyed out. Can you explain how to make these icons white with opacity of 1? Did any of the selectors change?
Yes, these selectors are a little more specific now and we removed the opacity entirely in favor of using a solid color (there was a bug in Safari where SVG icons were clipped slightly because of the opacity).
I have a similar problem as the OP, probably somewhat simpler: For some reason the colour of the header icons got darker for no apparent reason (I assume it was related to the tidy-up measures on your side). Since my header is a darkish, I want the icons brighter.
I too cannot change colors of hamburger/bar menu, search/find icon did change - have tired all aforementioned tips & more by inspecting stuff in web browser but (not being a webdev) I failed. Anybody has that figured out?
When you use an icon instance in a new component, you should redefine its color even if it already has the desired color. Just change it to something else and then give it the color you want it to have for that state.
One solution I've found is to create an alias for the application (Using 'Right Click' > 'Create Alias') and then store the actual application someplace out of sight. Then, you can change the alias's icon and it'll function exactly the same.
The reason I typically include the Keyboard Maestro icon in these things is so that it is clear and obvious that the window belongs to Keyboard Maestro. Otherwise users can easily get confused where the window comes from and how to deal with it.

Is there a mod that allows to rename vessels from the tracking station (not only to change the name but also to change its icon - satellite, lander, station, etc.)? Or at least that adds a button "mark as debris" because I'm playing career mode and have lots of rescue contracts completed, so my tracking station vessel list became terribly long. I know that I can rename it before I get the kerbal out of cockpit, but not all parts allow me to do so (and sometimes I just forget it). And I know that there is a big red button to remove the vessel from tracking station, but looks like this button completely destroy the vessel (and I want that this part to have a chance of colliding with my other launches).
I had some issue with this as well but solved it with changing the icon_path in the initGui function in my main script: icon_path = f'self.plugin_dir/icon.png' (from icon_path = ':/plugins/plugin_name/icon.png')
I copied the assign folder to create my own module and would now like to change its icon.. it obviously still has the same icon as that used for the assignment module but I'd like to change it to my own one.. any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi Mike, I've already gone into the pix folder and removed the old icon and replaced it with mine (and named it as icon the same as before) but had no effect I copied the assign module but re-named everything from assign to my new plugin name. So the new plugin has separate database tables, files etc.. is that still not ok?
