Namaste Everyone,

 

This is an open INVITATION to you to join this year’s  Sangha Shiksha Varg (SSV) Samarop Karyakram.

 

Samarop Time: Sunday, July 9th 2017 @ 10 AM, followed by lunch. 

 

Kindly join the samarop on the concluding day of Sangha Shiksha varg in large numbers with family and friends to cheer and witness the samarop demonstration, a culmination pradarshan of skills acquired and honed during their week-long leadership training program, to be presented by shiksharthis from our shakhas with sense of pride and accomplishment.  We also get to meet and listen to inspirational message from our national karyakartas.

 

Please consider this is as another great opportunity to get engaged and become part of overall conduct of SSV, by joining on the concluding day of SSV and help out in post-samarop vyavastha (dismantling setups related cleanup).   Besides, you can extend your help and aid in safe transportation of shiksharthis back home who would be physically sapped, but charged up every other way.  For those of us who are unable to attend SSV full-time, this is the next most important way to contribute and become part of the once-a-year opportunity to show support and enjoy the comradery of the fellow swayamsevaks and sevikas.

Please plan to reach the venue by 9 AM, so there is enough time for parking and to exchange greetings with all gathered, before a sharp start of the samarop at 10 AM.

Finding Camp site is fairly simple. The following tips can save you a lot of time.

Last mile landmarks instructions

·         There is a gas station and convenient store about 5 miles from the camp (42566 Highway 49 # A, Ahwahnee, CA) that may have some of the basic essentials you forgot to bring.

·         Cellphone signals are flaky, they are not consistent and might lose signal when you reach near the campsite.

·         GPS systems work fine. Search with "Camp Pacifica, 45895 California 49, Ahwahnee, CA 93601" to should be able to reach campsite following GPS directions.

·         Please follow the GPS directions and landmarks provided towards the end, you will see HSS signs.
