Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) is introducing Dharma Internship Program for this summer (2020). This internship will have exciting learning modules and active participation in various project work for all rising 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders as well as high school grads. Part of the project work is eligible for volunteer hours. All participants will receive certificates on the successful completion of the internship. Interns will also have the opportunity to publish their writings and essays on different platforms.

This is a great opportunity for all students to learn and make a positive impact in your community. Internship is open to anyone entering 8th grade, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and seniors graduating from high school this summer. As listed below, we have planned two different tracks based on school grade.
Track-1: For rising 8, 9th, and 10th graders
- Study of the Mahabharata which will include bi-weekly Zoom learning / discussion sessions as well as content creation. Students will be making quizzes, question banks and write essays (which can also be published)
Track-2: For rising 11th, 12th, and graduating seniors
- 'Hindu Dharma for Teens' course which will be an in-depth course covering Hindu dharma, Hindu history, and Hindu people
- The opportunity to get involved with multiple projects:
- Stories and projects of impact: Interviewing and researching different 'sewa' projects (here and abroad) and writing article, essays, reports, and blogs (which will all be published)
- Hindu Heroes stories: Reading, investigating, and creating a short story books (based on Baal Bharti books) on inspiring Hindu heroes
The internship will be for 8 weeks starting June 8th. There is a time commitment for this program. Please ensure you have gone through the website and FAQs before signing up for this internship. The participants have to spend about 8-10 hours per week including attending sessions, researching, and writing.
