We are encouraged to be accepting, welcoming and hospitable as Jesus Christ has loved and accepted us. We see the exhortation here and throughout the Bible- Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
飓风无情，神家有爱！Though the hurricane is powerful and disastrous, our Lord is here to help the needy through his people. God's peace, comfort and help will be with them in the midst of their sufferings, most of the times through his people, such as you and me. Therefore let us open our homes and host our friends who might come to Columbia from the coast!

Some of the friends might want to attend our "Family Matters Conference" tomorrow, as they have indicated the possibility to me. That means host families will potentially be needed as early as tomorrow. They are still gathering information. In today's service we learned that fellowship among brothers and sisters sometimes means that we are joyfully sharing our resources. Thank God for blessing us with plenty and making us a blessing for others.
