I forgot to uninstall the game before today. I tried to unistall it in garena but the game was already gone. My PC's storage did not decreased, so I thought that the files are still in my pc. Does it automatically uninstall, or should I find and delete the files in my pc?
So for those of you who are blessed and do not have to use Garena for playing league of legends here are some of the things we face on a regular.
Garena is possibly one of the worst clients that I have come across in a lifetime of gaming.
Let me 'run it down' for you,
While every other server cherishes the ever vibrant login screens and theme musics, to a garena player this is nothing but a myth. Instead of the animated splash we are instead welcomed with an UI that is very reminiscent of MSN from windows xp.
Random and unannounced maintenance for upwards of 4 hours is common.
Client service is non existent, in my experience playing this for upwards of 6 years never have I ever received a feedback or answer to any of my customer tickets or queries.
The client is so buggy you need to wait for upwards of 5mins after a game to see your stats and lobby.
To buy RP you must first covert your currency to that of your servers then buy Shells(Not RP) which is then used to buy RP, you end up paying so much more.
Weekly modes like Clash is enjoyed by players all over the world however for some reason we are not deemed fit to play it.
Not to mention Garena installs additional java scripts to their game files so that they crypto mine using your system.
All in all I write this post with hope that someone from Rito will see this and tells us players why we are treated different even though we love the game no less than others.
Will we ever get to ditch Garena? We are really tired Rito.
One thing is for sure, garena client includes a game launcher. So I suppose when u start any multiplayer game like warcraft via the launcher, it somehow intercepts the packets to and from the warcraft game and send it to the destination via VPN or any other means (Tell me what means are possible for gaming over internet if not VPN)
Last time I used it, GArena gets a list of servers (from a central location), and when you start a game (say CoD4) it lunches the game with the server:port as a parameter and since most of garena users are connecting to the same server, you may thinks that it's garena that is routing the packets to the proper application.
