The Easy Notes Character magnets represent the music notes taught using the stories in the Easy Notes theory books. I just recorded a midi bass playing quarter notes on different notes and feel it would sound better in 8ths. Besides rerecording the part and splitting each note individually, is there an easy way to turn multiple bars worth of quarter notes into 8ths? Perhaps some kind of "apply similar edit" function?
Thanks guys. Yeah, I use all those methods above already, it just becomes tedious to manually select every other note, as you cannot simply lasso the notes! I've also used the "select equal subposition" from the edit menu, which works pretty good. The problem is you still have to manually select every other note for a bar or two.
BUT, when you are trying to edit a note, if by some misfortune you select an event from another track, then it is this track that is edited and it is really painful ! (and really problematic when there are overlays of notes !!)
In order to use your iPad to take notes, you'll, of course, need an iPad and the appropriate Apple Pencil for your iPad model. I'll include a list of which iPad model uses which version of the Apple Pencil at the bottom of this post.

From the main drop-down menu, you will see various sections: notes, reminders and files.
